UV 944,Horsorb 944 is a polymeric light stabilizer, mainly applied in polyolefin
plastic, such as PP and PE, in olefin copolymer, such as EVA and the
combination of propylene and rubber. It is also used in polyphenylene oxide
compound(PPE), polyacetals and polyamides, polyurethanes, PVC and PVC
compound.

Appearance: Light yellow crystalline powder
Melting range: 100-135℃
Residue on ignition: 0.1% max
Transmittance: 425nm:
80% min
500nm: 85% min

Advantage
|
1. High compatibility with a
wide range of polymers.
2. Better performances than
ultraviolet light absorber, e.g. UV-327
3. Has coordinating function
when used with ultraviolet light absorber.
4. It can be used in low
volatile and slight transfer system, especially for film and fibre.

Applications
|
1.Polyvinyl chloride: 0.1-0.5wt% for
rigid PVC based on solids.
2.Polyurethane: 0.1-0.3wt% for PS based on solids.
3.Polyamides: 0.2-0.5wt% for PS based on solids.
4.Unsturated Polyester:
0.2-0.5wt% for PS based on solids.
